ENGINEERING super bowl parade
Working together with the City of Kansas City, Missouri, the Kansas City Sports Commission
and the Kansas City Chiefs, O’Neill planned and produced an unforgettable championship parade through
the heart of Downtown, followed by a massive victory rally in front of historic Union Station to celebrate
the Chiefs winning Super Bowl LIV. Despite below-freezing temperatures, hundreds of thousands attended the
event honoring the city’s beloved champs.
O’Neill worked closely with Kansas City officials and key partners to plan, coordinate and manage the parade
and rally. Every element of the event was meticulously planned including overall management, budgeting, route
layout, street closures, security, first aid, public communications, parade lineup, staging, logistics, production,
equipment rental, media relations, signage and coordination of volunteers. It was a true-team effort.
